Intra sau nu astazi SUA in faliment?

Falimentul SUA? Lumea intreaga este cu ochii pe Europa, asteptant urmatorul downgrade – sau prima intrare in faliment. Paradoxal insa, falimentul pare a fi mult mai aproape de SUA decat de Europa. Cel putin asta ar putea fi rezultatul disputei dintre Republicani si Democrati pe marginea aprobarii Bugetului de Stat. Ieri, un acord intre cele doua parti era aproape imposibil! Astazi – este ziua decisiva!

US budget deadlock: Obama urges lawmakers to reach deal

Republicans, urged on by the anti-government Tea Party movement, are calling for a far greater reduction in the government budget than Democrats are willing to concede, in what Republicans describe as a necessary effort to trim the $1.4 trillion (£858bn) US budget deficit.

Mr Obama spoke as budget talks intensified in Congress. Without a deal, the US government will shut down at midnight on Friday.

The current deadline is 8 April. If both the House and the Senate can’t pass a budget bill by then, the US government will have to close up shop.

  2. SUA in faliment? Ar avea prea multi de pierdut, asa ca va mai merge finantarea deficitului.
