Profiturile corporatiilor americane, un nou maxim istoric in q3 2012: aproximativ 2 trilioane de dolari!

Azi, 29 noiembrie, BEA a publicat datele despre PIB-ul american pe trimestrul III. Mai importanta insa decat cresterea de 2,7% inregistrata de acesta (vezi aici comunicatul BEA) pare a fi evolutia profiturilor corporatiilor americane, care, in trimestrul III au crescut cu circa 67 de miliarde peste nivelul inregistrat la finele trimestrului II (cand cresterea a fost de circa 21 de miliarde fata de trimestrul I). Profiturile realizate de corporatiile americane au insumat astfel, la finele trimestrului III din 2012, 1989,2 miliarde de dolari.

Corporatiile financiare au realizat mai putin de un sfert (460 de miliarde) din aceasta suma, cele nefinanciare mai bine de jumatate (1095 de miliarde de dolari), iar restul (de circa 433 de miliarde de dolari)  sunt profituri realizate in afara SUA. (sursa cifrelor aici )

Real gross domestic product -- the output of goods and services produced by labor and property
located in the United States -- increased at an annual rate of 2.7 percent in the third quarter of 2012 (that
is, from the second quarter to the third quarter), according to the "second" estimate released by the
Bureau of Economic Analysis.  In the second quarter, real GDP increased 1.3 percent.

Profits from current production (corporate profits with inventory valuation and capital
consumption adjustments) increased $67.3 billion in the third quarter, compared with an increase of
$21.8 billion in the second quarter.  Current-production cash flow (net cash flow with inventory
valuation adjustment) -- the internal funds available to corporations for investment -- increased $45.0
billion in the third quarter, compared with an increase of $6.0 billion in the second.
