The International Finance Corporation’s Public Private Partnerships Department for Europe and Central Asia (ECA) is seeking to recruit a consultant for The Bucharest District Heating Project.
The position will be based in Bucharest, Romania, and will report to the Regional Business Line Manager for Public Private Partnerships. The job will entail travel within the region and is going to be a short term contract with a possibility for extension.
Duties and Accountabilities:
Project related research, drafting relevant correspondence and reports
Financial analysis and financial modeling;
Assistance to Team Leaders in the management and supervision of specialized technical and legal consultants;
Participate in drafting of Information Memorandums and Tender Documents;
Professional communication with clients, investors, consultants and other stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or economics.
2 years of experience in investment banking, project finance advisory services or business consulting.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Languages: Fluency in English and Romanian is required. Knowledge of French will be an advantage.
Excellent skills in MS Office Excel. Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral, including the ability to convey ideas clearly and to draft clear and concise reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and develop relationships. Ability to work well in teams. Openness to feedback and to new ideas
Strong sense of service to clients. Sense of responsibility, organisation and initiative.
